Forget the traditional Father’s Day gifts this year. No socks, perfume or standard gift vouchers, but a day full of action, fun and quality time by the sea.

During the Acropolis Father’s Day Challenge, fathers and children become one team for a sporty experience on the Belgian coast. Enjoy bowling, padel, darts, swimming, tennis, mini golf, karting and many other fun and sporty activities together at Sportpark De Krokodiel.

Winning is not the main goal, it’s all about laughing together, challenging each other and creating memories. Moms are, of course, also welcome to join in or cheer everyone on.

Important to know:

  • The challenge is completely optional and based on your own initiative
  • You decide which activities you do and when
  • Most activities are organised by external partners
  • All activities are payable, but very affordable
  • Advance booking is recommended

All activities are within walking distance of Hotel Acropolis. Want to enjoy the sea, dunes or nature between activities? Several walking and cycling routes along the Belgian coast start directly from the hotel. Our reception team will gladly share tips for the whole family.

A new day starts best with a hearty and delicious breakfast. At Hotel Acropolis, enjoy an extensive breakfast buffet every morning in a calm and spacious breakfast room — perfect before a sporty day, a business meeting or a relaxing trip by the sea.

  • Daily from 08:00 AM to 10:30 AM
  • Open to hotel guests and external visitors
  • Room rates exclude breakfast
  • Breakfast can easily be added during online booking

Dinner @Acropolis

DINNER

Restaurant De Soete’rie has found its new home at Hotel Acropolis. A unique collaboration where hospitality, atmosphere and refined gastronomy come together on the Belgian coast.

Chef Paul De Soete serves pure flavours, seasonal ingredients and refined dishes in a warm and stylish setting. Both hotel guests and external visitors are welcome for a cosy culinary evening.

Opening hours:

  • Tuesday to Saturday
  • From 6:00 PM (Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00 PM)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need to spend the Giftcard balance all at once?

No, that is not necessary. One of the advantages of an Acropolis Giftcard is that the amount does not have to be used in a single transaction. The remaining balance will stay valid.

The balance on the Giftcard cannot be exchanged for cash.

Is a late check-out possible?

Yes, absolutely. A late check-out is always subject to availability and possible until a maximum of 2:00 PM. Until 2:00 PM, the additional charge is €25. You can request this at reception or add it during your online booking.

Are pets allowed and are there any special conditions?

Small and medium-sized dogs are welcome at Hotel Acropolis, except in our Restaurant De Soete’rie and breakfast area. Dogs are only allowed in the DELUXE BALCONY room type.

When the dog stays alone in the room, we kindly ask that it is placed in a crate or bench.

Would you like to bring a second dog? This is only possible upon request and subject to approval.

Can I easily park at Hotel Acropolis?

Yes, Hotel Acropolis offers spacious parking facilities. The rate is €5 per day for hotel guests.

Are all activities free?

No, some activities are organised by our partners within Sportpark De Krokodiel and are payable separately. However, the prices remain very affordable. We also recommend booking in advance with our partners.
