Which room types are available for guests with dogs?
Dogs are only allowed in our Deluxe rooms with balcony.
The number of suitable rooms is limited. A reservation does not guarantee availability of a dog-friendly room.
What conditions apply to my dog?
Your dog must be identified in accordance with European regulations with a microchip and must be up to date with mandatory vaccinations, including rabies.
How many dogs can I bring?
One dog per room is allowed as standard. If you wish to stay with multiple dogs, this can be arranged upon request and may involve an additional charge.
Is my dog allowed in the restaurant or breakfast area?
Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant or breakfast area. In common areas such as corridors and reception, your dog must always be kept on a leash. Assistance dogs are of course permitted.
Are there rules on the beach?
Specific rules apply on the Belgian coast. Outside the high season, dogs are allowed on the beach on a leash from September 16 until June 14. During the high season, dogs are not allowed on most beaches. However, they are permitted in three specific zones
- At the guarded zone near Louis Logierlaan, west of the sports beach, dogs must be kept on a leash of maximum 10 meters
- From the guarded zone Carlton towards Ostend, dogs may run freely
- From the guarded zone Cristal Palace towards Nieuwpoort, dogs must be kept on a leash of maximum 10 meters
Dog waste
Dog owners must always immediately clean up after their dog using a waste bag and dispose of it in a bin or designated dog waste tube.
Good to know
We provide a food and water bowl and a small treat for your dog. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant or breakfast area. If your dog stays alone in the room, we ask that it is placed in a crate.
